We like art. We've liked art for a long time. Art Coop, Inc. was founded in '71 and has been owned & operated by local artists ever since.
We specialize in art supplies!
We also carry a vast selection of decorative
papers, fountain pens, books, greeting cards, queer goodies, posters, frames, notebooks, toys, black & white film, darkroom supplies & a large variety of gifts!

Are you hiring?
When we are hiring, we'll post a hiring call on our Instagram and Facebook with a link to our application. Due to the small format of our store, we are not continually hiring.
How do you pronounce Art Coop?

What's your return policy?
I don't see what I want on your website, is it in stock?
Our website is a work in progress - we appreciate your patience while we work out the kinks. We're slowly but surely adding our in-store stock to the online shop. If you don't see what you're looking for, feel free to contact us and we can let you know what we carry.
How do I get my order?
At checkout, you can choose shipping (price calculated at checkout) or free in-store pickup at our location in the Lincoln Square Mall in Urbana.
Can you sell something I make at Art Coop??
Possibly! We partner with some local artists to sell their artwork and products in-store! We'd be happy to consider selling your stuff, but due to the small format of our store we can't accept everything! :( If you're interested in selling with us, please fill out our Wholesale Form. (coming soon)
Do you do custom framing?
Unfortunately, we don't, but International Galleries is right down the hall in the Lincoln Square Mall and they would love to custom frame something for you!
Can I put on an art show in your gallery??
Possibly! If you're interested in putting on a show in our gallery,
please fill out our form. (coming soon) Acceptance will depend
on our current gallery availability and staffing.
Do you have art classes?
Not currently - We suggest checking out the
Champaign Park District,
Urbana Park District,
or Parkland College's Community Education
for classes and activities for the community.
